One of the most lucrative benefits of holding an American Express card is getting access to Amex Offers. These are special offers that go out to cardmembers allowing them to save money on a variety of purchases.
Everything from savings on restaurants to vacations might be included — you just have to continuously check your offers each month to see what type of new ways to save there are.
Well, there is a new Amex Offer that I believe is available to every American Express cardmember. (Many times these offers are targeted but it does not appear to be the case this time.)
The offer is for a complementary year of Calm Premium plus half off the following year upon automatic renewal.
“Calm is the #1 app for Sleep, Meditation and Relaxation.”
Personally, I use competitor Headspace for guided meditations, but I have heard great things about Calm and the fact that you can get one free year is pretty awesome.
I’m even thinking about temporarily switching to try it out myself.
The terms state that the offer is available to American Express cardmembers who do NOT have an active calm premium membership and who sign up by September 30, 2020 using the web portal.
If you’ve never given meditation a try, I cannot recommend it enough. It definitely has changed my life and I do it just about every day.
These apps make it very simple because they walk you through the process and break it down to the most granular level. They also have programs to help you learn how to breathe properly and get to sleep easier.
In this case, you have nothing to lose because you can get a free membership and give it a try at your own pace. Plus, let’s be honest, who doesn’t have time to meditate these days?
