Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos “The Club” (Lounge) Review

All-inclusive resorts offer you just about everything that you need when it comes to food and drinks. However, some all-inclusive resorts have an exclusive club lounge where you can upgrade your experience a little bit. In this article, I will tell you everything you need to know about the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: “The Club.”

Where is “The Club” located?

The Club is located on the fourth floor of the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos resort. Once you have entered the main lobby, you will turn right (when facing the pool) and head through a hallway to the elevators. Take the elevator up to the fourth floor and you will find “The Club.”

It honestly was not the easiest lounge to find and I think they could do a little bit better job of providing some signs for you.

How to get access to The Club

In order to have access to The Club, you will need to book a premium room or you can get in with elite status (I have seen reports of guests getting access with Hyatt Globalist Elite status). We got access to The Club with our premium room which was a one bedroom suite.

Sometimes they might have somebody checking your bracelets at the door but when I visited there was nobody there acting as a gatekeeper.

The Club is on at the smaller side. There are a handful of tables on either side of a partition with restaurant style seating.

You can also find some small sofas to relax on that look out to the view.

One of the main reasons that you might head up to The Club is to check out the alcohol selection which is quite extensive. Here is a look at all of the bottles that you can find there.

I think that there is sometimes a waiter there to help you but when I visited I did not see any waiter in the lounge. But this is not meant to be a self-service bar area.

They also had a pretty good beer selection along with some sodas.

There is an area with hot food and cold food items and other snacks.

The cold food items consisted of things like deli meat, grapes, fruit slices, cheeses, olives, and some interesting dishes like the pineapple dish below.

It looked pretty appetizing to me.

They also had a section with hot food items. I saw a few different dishes that consisted of protein dishes with beef and chicken. They also have fish fillet and a vegetarian dish consisting of pumpkin and vegetables.

They also had a little selection of bread and fruit.

And finally there was a machine for coffee and tea.

Then there is the desert counter. You will find many of the same desserts that you find in other places in the resort but they looked pretty fresh to me.

There is also an outside area with more seating and tables.

It has a great view of the center of the hotel including the main pool area and out into the ocean.

And finally there is a business center where you can use two computers and printer.

Final word

Usually, a club lounge is somewhere where you can partake in snacks and complementary drinks that you don’t have to pay for and so the area feels very exclusive.

But in the case of an all inclusive resort, you already are getting all of those things for free so it doesn’t quite feel as special. Still, I like the area and thought it was nice that they had some more premium alcohol you could get and a nice terrace to enjoy the weather outside.
