New unexpected 100K offer

Every now and again a new bonus comes in that is completely unexpected. Well, we just saw one of these unexpected bonuses arrive and it’s a big one.

New 100K offer

The new offer is for the Chase Ink Business Preferred card and it offers 100,000 points after you spend $15,000 in the first three months after account opening.

100,000 Ultimate Rewards is an amazing offer.

People have gone to great lengths to get 100,000 point offers in the past and now this type of offer is publicly available to everybody which is pretty fantastic.

Going with a WalletFlo valuation of 1.73 cents per point for Ultimate Rewards, this comes out to $1,730 worth of points. That is definitely going to be one of the most valuable bonuses that you will come across for any credit card.

Note: the Chase Ink Business Cash still offers 50K points with the lower spend requirement of only $3,000 in the first three months.

Tip: Use WalletFlo for all your credit card needs. It’s free and will help you optimize your rewards and savings!

Other perks

The Chase Ink Business Preferred has a lot of other things going for it though.

The first major consideration is that this card does not count against your 5/24 status. So if you have not opened up five accounts or more in the past 24 months then you absolutely want to consider this card first.

If you are wondering what your 5/24 status is, then I suggest that you check out the free app WalletFlo. Simply plug in your cards and the app will show you everything you need to know about your credit card eligibility.

The Chase Ink Business Preferred also has some solid bonus categories. The Chase Ink Preferred earns 3 points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases in the following categories each account anniversary year:

  • Travel
  • Shipping purchases
  • Internet, cable and phone services
  • Advertising purchases with social media sites and search engines

So this can be a great card to earn extra points on bills that you already pay like your phone bills and internet bills. Also, the fact that it earns 3X on travel is great considering that the Sapphire Reserve also earns 3X on travel but it comes with the annual fee of $550.

The biggest change with this offer is the much higher spend requirement of $15,000 in the first three months. I think one great ways to meet a minimum spend like this is to pay your taxes with your credit card. Now that the tax payment and filing deadline has been pushed out to July, you should have more time to put together a strategy to pay off your taxes with a card.

Overall, if you can meet the spend requirement, this is a great offer and an easy way to catapult your point earnings with a single card. If you can’t meet the minimum spend requirement, then you might want to look at the Chase Ink Business Cash which offers 50K points but has a much more reasonable spend requirement of only $3,000 in the first three months.
