Where to Find the Chase Southwest 50,000 Offers

The Chase Southwest 50,000 offers are back! We’ve seen these offers get as high as 60,000 in the past but we’ve also seen these offers stay at 25,000 points, so it’s a great sight to see that the Chase Southwest 50,000 Bonus Offers are back!

Update 4/23/18: the 50K offers are not back but I will update when they return.

Update: Some offers are no longer available — click here for the latest deals!

Great timing for the Companion Pass

While we have seen 60,000 point offers for all cards at once before, the 50,000 point offer is still a great offer. If you can get two of these cards at the same time (which is completely possible) then you’ll only be around 6,000 Rapid Rewards short of hitting the Southwest Companion Pass. Getting that pass will allow you and a companion to fly around on Southwest for the next two calendar years while only paying for one ticket.

Brad and I have spent millions of miles and points, but to this day I still think getting the Southwest Companion Pass was one of our best decisions. At one point we were out of town every other weekend for an entire summer all thanks to the Companion Pass. And we utilized the Southwest 50K bonus offers to achieve it!

We explored Chicago on a weekend get-a-way all thanks to the Southwest Companion Pass.

Since Southwest will be flying to Hawaii in 2019 (and possibly late 2018), you might be able to use your Companion Pass to get to paradise. And since we just started the new year, this is a perfect time to jump on the Companion Pass since it will be good for all of 2018 and 2019.

For those unaware, below are the features on all three Southwest credit cards. While they all come with annual fees, if you value Southwest points at 1.5 cents per point and fly Southwest often, then it makes sense to hold on these cards since the anniversary points outweigh the cost of the card’s annual fee.

Also, notice the business version with a 60,000 point offer. If you run a small business then this could be an even more ideal option since you would hit the Companion Pass with the sign-up bonuses alone. Note that the business version does come with a higher minimum spend requirement.

Final word on the Chase Southwest 50,000 offer

The Chase Southwest 50,000 offers are not always out and so anytime you see them it should grab your attention. But when these offers are out at the beginning of the year, it means that you could cash in on the Southwest Companion Pass for almost two years of free flying for a partner. Considering the value of the Companion Pass, it’s really a no brainer to go for these cards if you plan on flying Southwest.
